Sauder Mini Regency Road Collection Mini Desk at Office Max
As an expert on student desks, I always keep an eye out for great deals on quality home furniture. A new study desk that I haven’t previously reviewed is the Sauder Mini Regency Road Collection Mini Desk at Office Max. The Sauder Mini Desk is out of the $49.99 – $79.99 range you will find at Wal-Mart but still in the lower middle tier of prices at $119.99.
The Sauder Student Desk has a brushed Maple finish accented by a granite desktop. There is a slide out keyboard shelf and a side storage desk next to the keyboard opening. The granite desktop (it’s listed as granite on OfficeMax.com) makes this very easy to clean and also means it won’t stain if you leave a soda or water on top of it.
Another practical asset you have to love about this student desk is it’s very easy to put together.
Downsides are 1) the small drawer has caused some buyers trouble with sliding in and out on occasion and 2) the hutch backing doesn’t match the quality the rest of the desk exudes.

Overall, you’re going to like what you get out of the Sauder Mini Desk. It fits in small, compact spaces. It has a great, smooth desktop that’s easy to clean. Also, it’s got a quiet, distinguished feel to it with the darker colored wood and countertop. It’s not a super fancy piece of home office furniture but it does look nice and the student mini desk gets the job done.
You may want to buy this online as it’s usually a cheaper price than at the store.
